"DISK OF PHAISTOS" STUD EARRINGS SILVER 925

These unique stud earings are identical to the Phaistos Disc. The Phaistos Disc is a disk of fired clay from the Minoan palace of Phaistos on the island of Crete, possibly dating to the middle or late Minoan Bronze Age.The disk is covered with a spiral of stamped symbols.

Many attempts have been made to decipher the code behind the disc's signs. Historically, almost anything has been proposed, including prayers, a narrative or an adventure story, a "psalterion", a call to arms and a geometric theorem. Its purpose still remains in dispute.
